Great design for it's class, allows homecare setting, easy to shop on WL

wheelchairliberty's website is responsive and has good product write-ups, not un-wieldy, with both price assurance and authorized seller. I didn't need to look further. It was a pleasure to shop on.

Hoyer Classic is a trusted device in it's class with thoughtful design engineering. I really don't want to attempt saving a couple hundered or paying more for an off-brand little and get surprises. The electric I'm sure will save time - if middle of night lifting is required the extra time of hydraulic would only stretch out a distrought situation.

I saw allot of designs and Hoyer had something others omitted in many parts - the design goes well beyond initial release - it is a matured design from long experience. And HPL402 is actually less than many that have all same specs. I don't want a foldable - my mom can't do that and I hear traveling nurses don't lug along lifts.

A big help

It used to take me an hour to lift my daughter to bed, now it only takes 15 minutes due to electric lifting.

LAUREN HARMISON, CEO OF CAMP POSSABILITY
Campers

..."In 2016 Camp PossAbility acquired five Hoyer lifts which were used in the cabins, at the zip line, and with a
gantry at the lake.
“In general, people with quadriplegia don’t have a lot of body control,” Lauren said. “Many of our campers had
never done water activities, but because of the lift at the lake, everyone was able to go canoeing. That was a
huge difference for us compared to the first year. Also during our first year we needed up to five people to get
each camper into the zip line chair. Logistically it was extremely difficult and it was scary for the campers too.
With the Hoyer lift, the transfer only requires one volunteer.”

...The volunteers were also on Lauren’s mind when she decided
to acquire the lifts. “People are giving up a lot; they shouldn’t
have to be exhausted or fear an injury,” she said. “Some
volunteers probably would not have come back if we didn’t
have the lifts.”
Today, Hoyer lifts are a seamless part of Camp PossAbility. “Now that we’ve used them, we can’t imagine not
using them,” Lauren said. “The camp didn’t seem the same the second year and the lifts were a huge part of it.
Even the campers felt that way. They made a huge difference.”...
